The System of Electronic Publication allows the world scientific community to access full–text electronic versions of Russian scientific journals published under the logo of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and provides Russian and foreign scientists with up–to–date world–standard information services.

The electronic versions of scientific journals appear in the SEP simultaneously with publication of their print versions. All visitors to the SEP site can view the journal catalogue, tables of contents, and abstracts. In addition, the full texts of individual articles containing the most current information, can be downloaded for free. Registered users of the system can either subscribe to the electronic version of any journal, or purchase an individual issue or article. The search module supports complex queries, including the context search in PDF files. You can save and edit search results. Security during transmission and saving of data, as well as control of access to server materials, is provided by the latest achievements in the field of electronic commerce.
